The Voice of the on-campus population
The
Residence Hall Association is comprised
of student residence halls representatives
from all thirteen member campus-wide
Hall/Area Councils. This body of student
peers are the "Voice for the On-campus
Population" to the individual departments
on campus that deal with residential
issues such as Dining Services, Resident
Life, Residential Facilities and even
Transportation Services. We serve as
the only lobbyist for residential students
to the other governance boards on campus
as well as the primary government for
residential issues.
The Executive Board of the RHA has the job of overseeing the RHA Senate. This assembly of community representatives from each Hall/Area Council is the force behind residential policies. Each Senator can sit on one of four policy committees as well as ad hoc committees. The Arms of RHA are independent groups that pertain to different areas within the RHA. However, no organization can thrive without a strong base. This base comes in the form of Hall and Area Councils.
